Bahrain to improve on last four position?

Did you know Bahrain finished fourth in Asia Cup 2004. They went out to eventual winners Japan.

With two players, Talal Yousuf and A’ala Hubail, in the tournaments top 11 players list last time, they will hope to go even better this time.

Unfortunately performances against Australia in qualifying were uninspiring so I think they will be lucky to gain a last four spot this time.

They do however have a number of players playing in Qatar and this will give their players greater experience.
